Crude oil prices took another dip in Tuesday’s trading as U.S. crude fell below the $60 mark.
West Texas Intermediate crude for April delivery dropped 89 cents to $59.75 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Brent crude for May delivery, considered the global benchmark dropped 99 cents to $62.70 a barrel in trading on ICE Futures Europe.
April natural gas went up 6 cents to $2.84 per 1,000 cubic feet.
The continuing tumble in crude prices also affected Oklahoma energy prices.
Some made gains in Tuesday’s trading.
Blueknight Energy Partners LP added six cents for a 2.62% gain to $2.35.
Cimarex Energy went up 69 cents for a gain of 1.17% to $59.68.
Devon Energy Corp rose 6 cents for a gain of only 0.29% to $22.48.
Gulfport Energy Corporation had a gain of 5.33% to reach $0.079 cents.
Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. finished up 65 cents for a gain of 1.51% to $43.62.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc rose 12 cents to $5.97 for a gain of more than 2%.
OGE Energy Corp increased 17 cents to $29.76 per share for a gain of 0.57%.
Ovintiv Inc. gained nearly 1% on a 23 cent hike to $24.75.
SandRidge Energy gained about 2% on a 10 cent increase to $5.21.
Williams Companies Inc settled up 13 cents at $23.72, a gain of about half a point.
For every one of the firms that had gains, just about as many suffered losses for the day.
Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. went down 11 cents to $5.99 for a loss of 1.80%.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP dropped 15 cents for a loss of 4.59% to $3.12.
Enable Midstream Partners LP went down 9 cents for a loss of 1.31% to finish at $6.78.
Helmerich & Payne Inc. fell 94 cents to $29 and a loss of 3.14%.
LSB Industries closed down 39 cents at $4.42 and a loss of more than 8%.
Matrix Service Co had a 3.42% loss on a 49 cent fall to $13.83.
NGL Energy Partners LP dropped a dime to $2.50 and a loss of 3.85%.
ONE Gas Inc. fell 75 cents for a 1.08% loss to $68.78.
ONEOK Inc. dropped 58 cents to $46.89, a loss of 1.22%.
PHX Minerals Inc lost 5.44% on a 19 cent slide to $3.30.
