OKC’s Circle K stores bought by Casey’s General Stores

  In a $39 million deal, Casey’s General Stores is buying all 49 Circle K stores in Oklahoma City. Casey’s, based in Iowa has eight existing stores in the metro area and one each in Perkins and Seminole. The Oklahoman reported the purchase is set to close July 31. First lawsuits in Texas are filed over storm gas costs

  The first lawsuits protesting exorbitant gas prices during February’s historic deep freeze in Texas have begun. Bloomberg reported that CPS Energy, a Texas utility, is suing energy giants including BP Energy Co., Chevron Corp. and Energy Transfer. Energy companies start their own COVID-19 vaccination programs

  As Oklahoma and other states open up their COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to all persons 16 and older, some U.S. energy companies joined the movement by creating employee vaccination programs.
