The Oklahoma Incentive Evaluation Commission has scheduled a special virtual meeting for Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. The IEC will receive an update on the Year Five 2020 incentives by Randall Bauer of PFM Group Consulting LLC. Bauer will discuss the following economic incentives and related recommendations:
- Five Year Ad Valorem Tax Exemption
- Tax Credit for Electricity-Generated by Zero Emissions Facilities
- Aerospace Employer and Employee Tax Credits
- Film Enhancement Rebate
- Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit
- Industrial Access Road Program
- Quality Events Incentive
- Oklahoma Capital Investment Board
- Excise Tax Exemption on Aircraft Sales
The IEC is a blue-ribbon oversight panel created by the Oklahoma State Legislature in 2015. The Commission is charged with reviewing and proposing new incentives to support emerging and existing industries in order to maintain Oklahoma’s competitive economic edge. The IEC provides its annual recommendations and summary report to the Governor by the end of the year.
