Love’s opens country’s largest hydrogen refueling station

The largest hydrogen transit refueling station in North America has been opened in California by a subsidiary of Oklahoma City-based Love’s Family of Companies.

Trillium opened the hydrogen center in Santa Ana, California. The center has the capacity to fill a transit bus in about 10 minutes but plans call for the fleet capabilities to grow to 50.  Trillium stated that it is the only zero-emission fuel choice.

“Trillium is excited to open this hydrogen fueling station which will allow Santa Ana buses to run efficiently and produce no tailpipe emissions,” said JP Fjeld-Hansen, who is vice president of Trillium.
