Lindsay’s Casillas Operating LLC has had some big success in the SCOOP with at least one well producing more than 1,700 barrels of oil a day and three sister wells producing 1,300 barrels a day.
Completion reports show the Flash 1-8-5mxh, located at 17 1S 3W in Carter county had production of 1,708 barrels of oil a day and 1,620 Mcf of natural gas. The well is located at a site about two miles north of Ratliff City and was spudded in May 2019. It was finished in June of 2019 and completion was made in July at a drilling depth and length of 18,900 feet in the Sycamore formation.
Casillas also reported three wells from a single pad in Garvin County that had combined production of 1,326 barrels of oil a day. The first of the Pappy 3-17 wells, all located at 17 4N 4W or two miles southwest of Lindsay had production of 341 barrels of oil daily and 3,931 Mcf of natural gas a day. It had an April 2019 spud date with completion made in July 2019 at a length and depth of 19,911 feet in the Woodford formation.
A second well, with a March spud date and completion in July 2019 had production of 558 barrels of oil a day and 916 Mcf of natural gas from a depth and length of 21,116 feet in the Woodford formation.
The third Pappy well was completed in July 2019 at a depth and length of 21,218 feet in the same formation and had production of 427 barrels of oil a day and 3,885 Mcf of natural gas.
Casillas Operating also brought in another well but at a separate site in Garvin County and had production of 391 barrels of oil a day and 1,682 Mcf of natural gas.
In the STACK play, Oklahoma City-based Chaparral Energy LLC completed two Cutbow 1307 wells located 3 miles northeast of El Reno. The two wells, at 26 13N 7W had combined production of 1,570 barrels of oil a day.
The first well had production of 992 barrels of oil a day and 4,980 Mcf of natural gas and was completed October 2019 in the Mississippian formation at a depth and length of 14,590 feet.
The second well produced 578 barrels of oil a day and 2,760 Mcf of natural gas when it was completed in October 2019. It had a length and depth of 14,796 feet.
