The slowdown in the oil and gas industry is hitting Wyoming energy companies. Some have filed for bankruptcy and others are shutting down exploration in 2020.
It’s also happening in an area where some Oklahoma energy companies have oil and gas exploration underway. Midstream companies based in Oklahoma City and Tulsa also carry oil out of the Green River Basin to the Cushing storage center and on to Gulf coast refineries.
