Bison announces 15-year water disposal agreement in the STACK

Oklahoma City’s Bison company announced it has secure a 15-year water gathering and disposal agreement with Houston’s Paloma Operating Co.

The agreement will put Bison in charge of disposing of the water needs covering 325,000 acres in the STACK—Blaine, Canadian and Kingfisher counties.

“Our customer-focus, best-in-class operations, existing asset footprint and our overall dependability distinguished us among our peers,” stated North Whipple, CEO of Bison.

The announcement is the latest for the four-year old Bison. It previously announced the acquisition of S and S Star Water Solutions as well as Cobalt Environmental Solutions. Bison also entered into a 15-year agreement to dispose and manage water for Marathon Oil Co.

Bison operates more than 35 commercial water disposal facilities in the STACK, SCOOP and Merge plays of the Anadarko Basin.
