Electric-car maker Tesla launched a new program over the weekend to allow customers to rent solar panel systems.
Instead of plugging into a unit at a nearby restaurant or repowering the car while at home, customers can rent a solar panel. The only drawback is that Tesla is offering the solar panels in six states and the closest to Oklahoma is New Mexico.
Panels are also available in Arizona, California, Connecticutt, Massachusetts and New Jersey. The cost is $50 a month in most of the state but in California the cost is $65.
