Kansas regulators investigating source of Hutchinson area earthquakes

The Kansas Corporation Commission has started an investigation to determine the cause of a string of strong earthquakes that Hutchinson earlier in August. American Airlines adding 400 jobs to Tulsa maintenance center

The city of Tulsa got good news this week when American Airlines announced it would add 400 jobs to its maintenance operation where there are already 5,200 employees. Federal study supports North Dakota’s challenge of Washington State’s tanker rules

Oil and gas counties have lowest jobless rates in Oklahoma

Oklahoma’s latest county-by-county unemployment figures show some of the state’s prolific oil and gas production counties also have some of the lowest jobless rates in the state. Counties that make up the STACK play include Blaine with a rate of 2.1%. Kingfisher County’s rate is 2.2% while the jobless rate in Canadian County is 3.0%. …
