New public information notice in place at Oklahoma’s Corporation Commission building

Those doing business in person at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission will see a new “notice” kiosk in the Jim Thorpe building.

As of Thursday, March 28, the commission will use the kiosk that is made from the old east entry doors. They were saved and re-saved to create the kiosk which is used for public notices and Open Meeting act notices.

Pat Franz, the Chief Advisor and Legal Counsel to the Commission said in an advisory that the Commission will continue to post the notices on the Commission website and deliver them through GovDelivery email subscription service.

“When inclement weather prevents use of the kiosk at the time of posting, the Open Meeting act notices will be posted on the outer east doors—where we have been posting them since the east doors were remodeled,” she added in the advisory.
