Oklahoma City’s Chaparral Energy Inc. saw shares jump 26 percent in trading on Tuesday.
In higher than average trading, the oil and gas company saw stock prices add $1.16 and closed the day at $5.62 per share.
It turned out to be the largest percentage gainer on the New York Stock Exchange for the day. The stunning increase in trading of Chaparral shares came after the company reported its fourth-quarter and full-year 2018 financial earnings on Friday.
