Tulsa’s Empire Petroleum Corporation has announced the purchase of oil and gas assets in Louisiana. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Empire Louisiana LLC reached the deal with Cardinal Exploration and Production Company and Exodus Energy, Inc. Still more earthquakes in northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas

More minor earthquakes have been reported in southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma, an area where wastewater injection wells are blamed. A 2.7 magnitude quake was registered by the U.S. Geological Survey at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday near the southern Kansas town of Bluff City.  The quake was about 3 miles deep. Bluff City is located …

Senate approved Water Act means improvements for Oklahoma water projects
