Marathon Oil Company is reporting the completion of two wells, each producing more than a thousand barrels of oil daily, nearly 8 months after they were completed in Kingfisher County.
Drilled at the same site about 12 miles southwest of the city of Kingfisher the largest is the Tan 1509-5-4-33mxh which had production of 1,673 barrels of oil a day. It had an April 2017 spud date and drilling was finished in July 2017. The well was completed in December of that year but the completion report wasn’t filed until recently.
The second Tan well, Tan 1509 9-4mh produced 1,235 barrels of oil a day when it was completed in December 2017. Its spud date was in May of last year and drilling finished in June.
