3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Western Oklahoma on Sunday Afternoon

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.5 magnitude earthquake on Sunday afternoon in western Oklahoma.

The quake was reported about 4:25 p.m. on Sunday. The epicenter was about 18 miles north, northeast of Weatherford, 30 miles west, northwest of El Reno and 64 miles west, northwest of Oklahoma City. Reports indicate that the quake could be felt throughout Custer and Blaine counties in the nearby towns of Thomas and Watonga. The earthquake was more than three miles deep.

There are no reports of damage or injury at this time.
