Oklahoma U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe found himself defending President Trump’s proposed 31% budget cuts to the EPA during a recent interview on CNN.

Anchor Poppy Harlow questioned how the Senator could be comfortable with massive cuts that could affect the EPA’s monitoring of earthquakes in Oklahoma, quakes caused by wastewater injection wells.

Senator Inhofe stumbled a little as he said it wasn’t a matter of EPA enforcement but Harlow countered with documents showing it was. She pressed her case and the Senator finally said he was okay with it because he had confidence in Scott Pruitt.
