Wyoming to plug 1,500 abandoned wells with help of $25 million in federal funding

  The state of Wyoming plans to use $25 million in federal money to begin plugging its estimated 1,500 abandoned wells. Crude oil total falls again at Cushing hub

  The amount of crude oil in storage at Oklahoma’s Cushing hub continued its downward slide in the most recent report from the U.S. Energy Information Administration.   Another of the Texas exploration firms imbedded n the Permian Basin expanded its holdings this week. Diamondback Energy, Inc., headquartered in Midland, Texas announced the acquisition of Lario Permian, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lario Oil & Gas Company.
