Four Ovintiv wells produced 5,500 barrels of oil a day in Kingfisher County

Ovintiv Agrees To Sell Eagle Ford Assets For $880 Million, Updates Guidance

Wait a minute!  Ovintiv didn’t have just three wells on a single pad totaling combined production of nearly 4,000 barrels of oil a day in Oklahoma’s Kingfisher County. It was really 4 wells and 5,500 barrels of oil a day in production.

A day after filing three completion reports on the wells, the company filed the fourth report indicating there were four wells on the same pad, not three. And combined production made it 5,540 barrels of oil a day.

The firm filed a completion report on the Rosia 1709 3h-18x with production of 1606 barrels of oil a day and 2,918 Mcf of natural gas.

Located at 18 17N 9W , the Rosia was spudded in October 2021 and completion was made April 21 from a drilled depth of 19,506 feet in the Mississippian.

As OK Energy Today reported this week, the wells are at a northern Kingfisher County site which was 5 miles southwest of the town of Loyal.
