Heat wave results in power outages in Texas
At least one Texas power company was busy explaining it was the weekend heat wave that caused an increase in electric outages. Oncor Electric Delivery blamed the outages on electric demand as air conditioners were cranked up to beat the heat. About 2,000 customers lost power Sunday night according to KXAN TV news.
