New Mexico solar maker to take big hit from government-sparked crisis

 

Six weeks after the U.S. Commerce launched an investigation into solar manufacturing operations in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia—a move that sent the solar industry into a crisis, one of those companies hurt is in New Mexico.

Albuquerque-based Array Technologies, considered one of the country’s biggest manufacturers of solar tracking systems estimates losses will reach $250 million this year according to the Albuquerque Journal.
