Wind farm developer expands into solar energy projects

  Minnesota-based ALLETE, Inc, the wind-farm operator with projects in Oklahoma wrapped up a nearly $166 million acquisition of New Energy Equity, one of the nation’s top distributed solar developers. Gas plant explosion injured 2 and forced evacuation of Kansas town

  The small town of Haven, Kansas was evacuated Thursday after an explosion and fire at the Haven Midstream gas plant. Two workers were injured in the blast.
