New producers reported in Oklahoma

Report ranks Oklahoma fourth among states for oil production | The Journal  Record

 

Oil and gas exploration is still taking place in Oklahoma as crude prices are well above $100 a barrel. The latest completion reports were on wells in the SCOOP.

Gulfport Midcon LLC filed completion reports this week on two wells in Grady County with combined production of nearly 1,900 barrels of oil a day but far more natural gas.

The two wells were completed in May of last year. The Hale 1-1x36x35x26h, located at 1 3N 6W, a site east of Rush Springs had production of 959 barrels of oil a day and 22,169 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 25801 ft. The well had a May 2020 spud date according to its completion report.

The Hale 2-1x36x35x26h, drilled on the same pad had production of 911 barrels of oil a day and 22,793 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 26,635 feet. The well was spudded in July 2020 according to its completion report.

Cimarex Energy Company filed a completion report on the Carel 3h-2524x located at 25 11N 8W, a site four miles west of Union City in Canadian County. The well, spudded in February 2021 produced 775 barrels of oil a day and 4,787 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 21,586 feet.

Two Canadian County wells were completed by Citizen Energy III LLC at 22 10N 5W, a site several miles south of Mustang and along the Canadian River. Combined production from the single pad was 611 barrels of oil a day.

The Mcneff East 2h-15-10, completed in December 2021 produced 308 barrels of oil a day and 1,507 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 19,386 feet. The well was spudded in October 2021.

The second well, the Mcneff East 1h-15-10, produced 303 barrels of oil a day and 1,379 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 19,405 feet. It was spudded in September 2021 according to its completion report.
