While Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt wrestles with Indian tribes following the U.S. Supreme Court McGirt ruling, one that will at some point result in decisions of regulation of energy in the state, Congressman Tom Cole wants the sides to get back to talking.
The Norman Transcript reports Cole made the comments in a recent interview, telling the paper, “”We ought to step back and say, Tribes are winning most of these legal cases, they’re not losing them, (So) shouldn’t we have a dialogue here?
