North Dakota loses bid to force government oil lease sales

A Federal judge has thrown out North Dakota’s lawsuit to force the U.S. government to hold oil lease sales on federal lands, explaining the Interior Department is already planning to reopen leases.

The ruling by U.S. District Judge Daniel Traynor in Bismarck was on a lawsuit prompted by President Biden’s moratorium on lease sales reported Inforum.
