Crude makes big rebound and OK energy stocks do the same

AAA reports Gas Prices Rise on New OPEC Deal - Clarksville Online
After slipping on Monday, crude oil prices rebounded Tuesday reaching more than $85 a barrel in the U.S. and $88 a barrel overseas, largely due to the growing tensions in Europe over Russia’s invasion threat against Ukraine. Oklahoma energy stocks responded in a big way with some seeing large gains for the day.
West Texas Intermediate crude for March delivery bounced back $2.29 or 2.75% to settle at $85.60 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for March delivery rose $1.93 or nearly 2% and closed at $88.20 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
February natural gas rose 2 cents to $4.05 per 1,000 cubic feet.

Some Oklahoma energy stocks soared in Tuesday’s trading including Cypress Environmental Partners with a 16% gain, a 9% jump for Continental Resources and a 6% gain for Devon Energy.
