Crude made a slight rebound on Friday and some OK energy stocks did the same

Crude oil prices managed a weak rebound on Friday as overseas oil settled above the $90 price. Oklahoma energy sources didn’t have the same kind of day.

West Texas Intermediate crude for March delivery went up 21 cents and settled at $86.82 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Global benchmark Brent crude, also for March delivery, rose 69 cents and finished the day at $90.03 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.

March natural gas rose 36 cents or 8.31% to $4.64 per 1,000 cubic feet.

If oil prices had a small rebound, you’d think Oklahoma energy stocks might have had the same kind of trading day, but not so.

Some, like SandRidge Energy had a more than 5% gain for the day but many others suffered slight losses.

Other energy stocks were also up and down according to the Texas Energy Report.

Apache (APA) up 0.22 at 33.17 – change 0.66%

Cheniere (LNG) up 2.70 at 112.86 – change 2.45%

Chevron (CVX) down 4.76 at 130.61 – change 3.52%

ConocoPhillips (COP) down 0.44 at 89.22 – change 0.50%

Diamondback Energy (FANG) up 0.08 at 128.72 – change 0.06%

Energy Transfer LP (ET) down 0.10 at 9.50 – change 1.05%

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) down 0.18 at 23.66 – change 0.74%

EOG Resources (EOG) down 0.05 at 109.70 – change 0.05%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 0.16 at 75.28 – change 0.21%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) down 0.01 at 17.20 – change 0.06%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) down 0.01 at 19.84 – change 0.06%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) up 0.17 at 16.77 – change 1.02%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) up 0.31 at 37.57 – change 0.83%

Phillips 66 (PSX) down 1.57 at 84.25 – change 1.83%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) up 1.52 at 215.37 – change 0.71%

Valero (VLO) down 0.57 at 81.41 – change 0.70%
