Tulsa’s Citizen Energy III LLC is planning more drilling projects in Canadian County.
The company has drilling permits for 5 more wells including 3 on a single pad.
The trio of wells, the NOWLIN #1H-16-9, the NOWLIN #2H-16-9 and the NOWLIN #2H-21-28, will be drilled at 16 10N 5W, a site several miles south of the city of Mustang, north of the Canadian River and immediately adjacent to State Highway 4.
Citizen Energy received a permit for the WALTHER #4H-1-12, located at 01 10N 6W, just a few miles northwest of the Nowlin wells.
An amended permit to drill was also awarded Citizen Energy to drill the DRIES #4H-33-4, just outside of Union City on the town’s south side. The site is 33 11N 7W.
A completion report filed by Citizen Energy III LLC showed production on the Dries 3h-33-28, located at the same site, 33 11N 7W had production of 206 barrels of oil a day and 1,528 Mcf of natural gas. The well had a spud date in late 2020 with completion in May 2021 at a depth of 18,832 feet.
Other drilling permits were awarded to Reach Oil and Gas Company, Inc. in Seminole County and Banner Oil & Gas LLC in Stephens County.
Active in Kingfisher County, Ovintiv USA Inc. completed the Jimenez 1708 2h-16x with production of 1,529 barrels of oil a day and 2,219 Mcf of natural gas. Located at 21 17N 8W, 8 miles northwest of the city of Kingfisher, the well had a March 2021 spud date with completion in August 2021. The drilling depth was 19,021 feet.
