We overlooked a previous completion report on a series of Ovintiv wells in Kingfisher County and as a result, the firm actually had four wells with combined production of more than 6,300 barrels of oil from a single pad.

Three completion reports were filed this week for three Jimenez 1708 wells at 21 17N 8W, a site about 6 miles northwest of the city of Kingfisher. OK Energy Today initially reported on those three but we have since learned Ovintiv had filed an earlier completion report for a fourth Jimenez well on the same pad.

It had production of 1,529 barrels of oil a day and 2,219 Mcf of natural gas. So the combined production of all four wells drilled on the same pad came to 6,356 barrels of oil a day.

Meanwhile, Tulsa-based Citizen Energy III LLC filed completion reports on 3 Grady County wells on a single pad with combined production of more than 1,200 barrels of oil a day.

The Rabbit Road 1h-10-3, Rabbit Road 2h-10-3 and the Rabbit Road 1h-9, all located at 15 9N 6W, were completed in November 2021.

Production of 517 barrels of oil a day and 1,726 Mcf of natural gas was reported from Rabbit Road 3 when it was completed at a drilled depth of 19,200 feet.

Rabbit Road number 2, drilled on the same pad located about a mile south of Tuttle produced 486 barrels of oil and 2,042 Mcf of natural gas. It had a spud date in July 2021 and completion was made with a drilled depth of 19,141 feet.

Rabbit Road number one produced 250 barrels of oil a day and 1,105 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 16,633 feet when completed in November 2021. Its spud date was late June 2021.

Total combined production from the three wells was 1,253 barrels of oil a day.

In Canadian County, Camino Natural Resources LLC based in Denver, Colorado reported completion of the Red River 1208 24-13-2wxh, with production of 335 barrels of oil a day and 4,859 Mcf of natural gas. Located two miles southwest of El Reno at 24 12N 8W, the well had an April spud date with completion in July. It had a drilled depth of 19,266 feet.

Some of the state’s new drilling exploration will be in Hughes County in the southeast. Drilling  permits were obtained by Positive Energy LLC of Ada to recomplete a well while Tlsa’s Calyx Energy III LLC obtained an amended permit to drill.

Stephens County will be the site of still more drilling efforts. Citation Oil & Gas Corporation of Houston has permits to drill 3 wells on a single pad at 35 1N 5W. The Prairiedale wells will be located about 2 miles north of Velma.

Permits to recomplete wells were obtained by Kirkpatrick Oil Company Inc. of Oklahoma City for a well in Major County and by NOGP Operating Company, LLC of Texarkana, Texas for a well in Pawnee County.
