More wells completed in Canadian County

Devon Energy Is Looking Better With $40 Oil (NYSE:DVN) | Seeking Alpha

 

Oklahoma’s Canadian County is home to two recently completed oil wells according to new documents supplied by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

Devon Energy reported completion of the Miller-miller 2_11-12n-9w 3hx located 3 miles south of the town of Calumet at 2 12N 9W.

The well had production of 862 barrels of oil a day and 7,897 Mcf of natural gas according to the completion report. It was spudded in February of 2021 with completion made in August at a depth of 22,228 feet in the Mississippian.

The second Canadian County well was drilled by Citizen Energy III LLC and had production of 206 barrels of oil a day and 1,528 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 18,832 feet in the Mississippian. The Dries 3h-33-28 well is located at the southwest edge of Union City at 33 11N 7W.

It had a spud date in November 2020 with completion in May 2021.

Canadian County is also in the drilling plans of Devon Energy Production Co. LP. It was issued a permit to drill this week for the SEEMS 11_2-13N-9W #2HX  well on the other side of Calumet.

Other drilling activity is planned by Kodiak Oil & Gas Inc. in Carter County. Gulf Exploration LCC obtained a permit to drill in Cleveland County while Presley Operating LLC was issued a permit to drill in Seminole County.

BCE-MACH LLC obtained a permit to drill in Woods County.
