Build Back Better could send billions to oil and gas firms

A key tax credit in President Biden’s climate and social policy bill to be handled in the U.S. Senate not only removes a tax credit for removing carbon dioxide from smokestacks but could also send tens of billions of dollars to fossil fuel companies over the next two decades.

Of course, environmentalists don’t like that possibility because they believe it would only help polluters.
