With the help of a $65,000 donation from Chevron and assistance from Cimarex Energy, Eddy County, New Mexico says it will respond to Permian Basin emergencies on the Texas side of the state line.
The two energy companies took the action with hopes of boosting emergency response in West Texas counties near Carlsbad through partnerships on the New Mexico side of the Basin according to the Carlsbad Current-Argus.
