Enid city leaders recently held another groundbreaking in the city’s more than $300 million project to bring water 70 miles away from Kaw Lake to the city.
The latest venture is a future water treatment plant that will take nearly two years of construction to finish. The treatment plant is intended as a final component of the major Kaw Lake water pipeline project, which is elsewhere beginning construction after years of planning and roadblocks reported the Enid News and Eagle.
