The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality plans to hold a webinar in its diesel grant program to replace aging school buses in the state.

The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments, Indian Nations Council of Governments and the DEQ will make the presentations. It will include an offering for the Clean Diesel / DERA Grant Program which is designed to reduce vehicle emissions in the state.
The program includes $734,342 in funding for the replacement of diesel school buses throughout Oklahoma with new diesel, gasoline, all-electric, propane (LPG), or natural gas (LNG or CNG) school buses.
The state says applications for the program will be accepted until Dec. 10, 2021.
