Biden Admin weighs shutting down oil pipeline in Michigan

U.S. President Joe Biden speaks on the October jobs report in the State Dining of the White House in Washington, D.C., U.S., on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021. The U.S. labor market got back on track last month with a larger-than-forecast and broad-based payrolls gain, indicating greater progress filling millions of vacancies as the effects of the delta variant faded.

Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration is reportedly gathering data on an oil pipeline in Michigan to determine if shutting it down would further increase fuel prices in the region.

But it might also further aggravate relations with Canada that were already in turmoil over Biden’s executive order killing the Keystone XL pipeline.
