Shell Oil Products U.S. says it plans two more renewable natural gas operations at dairies in Kansas and Idaho.
In addition, the firm announced it is expanding its New Energies facility in Junction City, Oregon where 736,000 million Btu a year in renewable natural gas is produced from cow manure and straw.
The new plant in Kansas will be built at the High Plains Ponderosa Dairy in Plains, a small town between Dodge City and Liberal reported Capital Press.
