Oklahoma among top “forever” chemicals site

Harmful PFAS Compounds Pollute Water at Multiple Sites in Every State • Children's Health Defense

An Environmental Protection Agency list of locations in the U.S. that are sites of toxic “forever chemicals” reportedly identified Oklahoma as one of the top three states in the country.
Oklahoma has an estimated nearly 12,000 such sites behind California with 13,000 and Colorado with nearly 21,400 such facilities and sites.

The list of facilities makes it clear that virtually no part of America appears free from the potential risk of air and water contamination with the chemicals known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) reported The Guardian.
