Cimarex Energy Co., the Denver based company with large operations in Oklahoma will soon be moving its headquarters to Houston, Texas after shareholders voted overwhelmingly this week to support the company’s $17 billion merger with Cabot Oil & Gas Corp.
The Denver Business Journal reported 99.5% of shareholder ballots approved issuing new shares to Cimarex stockholders.
