New Mexico Senators take heat for supporting oil and gas tax incentives

New Mexico senators request investigation into ICE facilities

 

According to environmentalists and at least two lawmakers, New Mexico political leaders did not do enough to oppose $121 billion in tax incentives for the country’s fossil fuel industry.

The main target of their disappointment were U.S. Sens. Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Lujan reported the Santa Fe New Mexican.
