Here’s where new drilling is taking place in Oklahoma

More drilling is planned in Oklahoma’s STACK. Some of the most recent permits to drill were issued for wells in Canadian County.

Oklahoma City-based Chaparral Energy Inc. received three permits for wells on a single pad. The MARBLE 1307 #2LMH-34, the MARBLE 1307 #1SMH-34 and the MARBLE 1307 #3SMH-34 will be drilled at 03 12N 7W, a site about 2 miles northeast of El Reno and south of the North Canadian River.

XTO Energy Inc., the subsidiary of Exxon Mobil has a permit to drill the HEWITT UNIT #16-0403, at 16 4S 2W in Carter County. The site is about 4 miles east of Healdton and 3 north of Wilson.

A Grady County well is to be drilled by Camino Natural Resources LLC. The Oklahoma-based company has extensive operations in the SCOOP and Merge. This time, it will drill the MICKEY MANTLE 1008 #13-12-1WXH at 13 10N 8W which is several miles northwest of Minco along state highway 37.

Trinity Operating USG LLC, with offices in Tulsa received a permit to drill the CLIFTON #1-21/28H at 16 7N 13E in  Pittsburg County. The well site is northwest of McAlester and west of the Indian Nations Turnpike.

Reach Oil and Gas Company Inc. with an office in Oklahoma City has a permit to drill the SANDY #1-31, at 31 8N 6E in Seminole County. The site is 2 miles southwest of Bowlegs.
