Those energy companies with at least 100 employees or more will apparently fall under the latest government edict coming from the Biden administration for COVID-19 coverage.

How their leadership will react remains to be seen but Axios reported Thursday that the mandate will apply to more than 80 million Americans working the private sector. They will be required to receive a COVID vaccine or produce a negative test result at least once a week.

Axios reported the new rule will be developed by OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The President’s mandate drew an angry response from Oklahoma GOP Congressman Kevin Hern.

“The federal government has once again overstepped into the lives and livelihoods of American citizens,” said Rep. Hern.

The Tulsa U.S. Representative said private companies are already suffocating under the oppressive restrictions put in place at the start of the public health emergency in 2020.

“My colleagues and I have warned of the slow march to socialism for years, and we were called liars for it. Turns out it’s not so much a slow march as it is a sprint. More restrictions, more mandates, more socialist policies are never the answer,” stated Rep. Hern.
