4,500 barrel production from Ovintiv wells in Kingfisher County

Ovintiv Mid-Continent keeps busy in STACK play – Oklahoma Energy Today

 

Just as we reported of the continued big well production by Ovintiv Mid-Continent Inc. in Oklahoma’s STACK, the company followed it up with two more wells from the same pad southwest of Kingfisher making combined production of nearly 4,600 barrels of oil a day.

Ovintiv will sometimes file completion reports on one or two wells and follow it with more filings from the same site.

The company’s latest well completion report filing came a day later for the same Connie Fed 1608 wells located at 27 16N 8W. Combined production from all four wells on the same single pad was 4,577 barrels of oil a day.

A third well had production of 1,127 barrels of oil a day and 1,567 Mcf of natural gas from a drilling depth of 19,231 feet. Its completion report showed a November 2020 spud date.

The fourth well had production of 1,291 barrels of oil a day and 1,724 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,305 according to its completion report.

The four wells had production out of the Mississippian.
