Workers to lose jobs as Clear Edge prepares shutdown in Tulsa

The Tulsa site of German-based Clear Edge Filtration notified Oklahoma authorities this week of its intention to close its operation in the state resulting in at least 80 workers losing their jobs.

The Oklahoma Office of Workforce Development received the notification which stated the Tulsa operation located at 11,607 E. 43rd street will be closed by the end of the year.

“Approximately 80 employees are expected to be separated from employment at the facility,” stated the WARN letter. The shutdown will begin October 31 and conclude by Dec. 31, 2021.

Clear Edge products span an array of industry sectors, including Mining and Minerals, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Water Treatment, Building Products, Pulp and Paper, Power Generation, Healthcare, Transportation and other Industrial applications.
