The fight over an endangered mouse found only in parts of New Mexico and Arizona re-emerged this week when environmentalists filed another lawsuit accusing the U.S. Forest Service of failing to protect the little animal.

The suit was filed by the Center for Biological Diversity and the Maricopa Audubon Society stating that the service failed to protect the New Mexico meadow jumping mouse and its habitat in the Sacramento Mountains according to the Associated Press.
