Senate Democrats want $500 billion in damages from fossil fuel companies

 

One doesn’t have to imagine too far what energy companies in Oklahoma think of the efforts of Democrats in Congress who want oil and gas companies to pay for their climate wish list.

Democrats in the Senate expanded their list for the multitrillion-dollar package the White House wants by way of budget reconciliation.

Axios reports Maryland U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen is leading the push for $500 billion in fees over 10 years from large fossil fuel companies.
