Petroleum storage tank meeting scheduled by OCC

Staff at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission’s Petroleum Storage Tank Division move ahead with discussions on rule changes.

The division plans another informal discussion with industry representatives on Thursday, Aug. 26 at 10 a.m. It will be an in-person meeting in Commission Courtroom 301 at the Jim Thorpe Office building in the state capitol complex.

The meeting will be in the large courtroom to accommodate social distancing needs.

The staff is working on rule changes for Chapter 15 Fuel Inspection, Chapter 25 Underground Storage Tanks and Chapter 26 Aboveground Storage Tanks.

The notification of the meeting stated that the formal rulemaking process has not started yet, and the informal discussion provides an opportunity for stakeholders to offer input on the draft proposed rule changes.
