Arkansas utility wants rate hike approval

  Arkansas regulators have been asked to approve a rate hike for customers of Southwestern Electric Power Co. The Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette reports if approved, it would mean a hike of more than $18 a month for a typical bill. Click here for Gazette report.  

Deep Deuce development to incorporate solar energy

  A resumed effort to finish the Deep Deuce housing development in northeast Oklahoma City plans to rely extensively on solar power as a means to create a “zero energy” neighborhood. Report ranks Iowa first in renewable energy use–Oklahoma third
