Kansas customers seek natural gas use investigation following winter storm

Energy users in Kansas formed a group to challenge the recovery of funds by utilities following the February winter storm that hit the state, resulting in controlled blackouts by the Southwest Power Pool.

Their organization, the Natural Gas Transportation Customer Coalition recently filed a legal motion with the Kansas Corporation Commission to investigate possible signs of market manipulation or dysfunction by some of the utilities reported the Kansas Reflector.
