Governor issues disaster declaration for Glenwood Canyon

 

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis issued a disaster declaration on Friday for the damage from flooding and rockslides to I-70 in Glenwood Canyon—damage that has shut down the interstate for an indefinite period.

Traffic is forced to be rerouted for long distances through the mountains reported the Denver Gazette.
