The federal oil and gas leasing program is reportedly set to resume soon after a Louisiana federal judge ended the Biden administration’s suspension following a lawsuit by Oklahoma and a dozen other oil and gas producing states.
Even though the Biden administration challenged the court decision this week, an official with the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management told those at the Offshore Technology Conference, “It will not be too long before you see something.”
