EPA raids on car shops fuel congressman’s bill

The efforts of North Carolina Republican Rep. Patrick McHenry to target the EPA and its raids on car shops not only have the support of Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford, but are drawing more attention in the media.

McHenry’s bill to make emissions-related changes to a street vehicle in order to convert it into a race car drew the support of Sen. Lankford earlier this month as reported by OK Energy Today.

Lankford contends the EPA raids carried out by armed agents are hurting the classic car industry.

The Washington Examiner high-lighted the raids in a recent story.
