North Dakota gets its first disposal site for radioactive oilfield waste

Oil and gas developers active in North Dakota no longer are forced to ship their radioactive waste to Montana following the opening of a new disposal facility in North Dakota.

The Bismarck Tribune reported that a new facility is open in McKenzie County which abuts the Montana state line.
